Terms and conditions
As a customer or participant on a tour of Baik Life, hereafter called the organizer, you acknowledge that riding on and off-road involves inherent risks, such as exposure to hazards on the road, equipment failure, changing weather conditions and other factors beyond the control of Baik Life. Despite these risks, you choose to participate in this activity and take full responsibility for any mental or physical injury, death, or loss or damage to any personal property that may occur as a result of participating in activities and transportation services.
Safety & responsibility
At Baik Life we prioritize the safety of all the participants in our tours. Our guides are trained in first aid care and carry cell phones to handle adequately. If it’s necessary the guides will assist you to find medical care and facilities.
Rules during, before and after the activity
- Always follow the instructions of the guides
- Never take over on any of the guides
- Never do any stunts like wheelies
- Never ride with your phone or anything similar in your hand
- Always ride with two hands on the handlebar
- Always ride with the provided protection gear on
- Never ride while you’re under the influence of medicines, alcohol or drugs
- Keep enough space between you and the person in front of you
- If you ride on the roads, stay left (behind the guides) and watch out for other people and vehicles
- Never stop in the middle of the road or middle of the track to avoid someone crashing into you
- If you stop stop on the side of the track or the road and if possible first look besides and behind you to make sure it’s safe to stop
Insurance
Make sure you either have a suitable travel insurance to cover potential medical costs, or you have the proper financial funds to cover your medical costs in case it’s needed. The organizer will not cover any medical costs and can not pay anything up front for you or borrow you money.
Cancellation policy
We understand unforeseen circumstances might arise and you want to cancel or change your reservation. Below you can read the conditions regarding cancelations or changes.
- Payments are refundable as booking credit up to 48 hours before the tour starts
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the tour will be refunded as 50% booking credit
- For no-shows we do not offer any refunds
The reason for this is the costs we make for the preparations of your tour. Besides our staff, we work with a great team of independent drivers and helpers which reserve their schedule and make costs to arrange your tour. We hope for your understanding.
Weather policy
As Indonesia is a tropical country with a tropical climate, weather conditions can change quickly. Therefore, we reserve the right to change plans due to bad weather conditions. This could include rescheduling your tour or cancel the tour by our side. In case we cancel your tour due to bad weather conditions we change the date on our cost or the paid amount is fully refunded of rescheduled without any extra fees.
